About

The Mexican Mike Myers, Jay Mendoza, is a positive soul with a relentless personality and, according to himself, is “just an Hispanic dude making funny videos.” His comedy is character-driven, and features larger than life people whom we have all met at some point or another. Proud of his roots, his commitment to his craft is also a commitment to his people and building up proper representation within comedy for Latinos.

Born and raised in Venice, California, Mendoza initially broke into the content production game with Peter Shukoff when he worked as a production assistant for four years on the hit YouTube series, Epic Rap Battles of History. He then began posting his own material, starting off as a Vine comedian who quickly became known for his funny Latino videos, which included the renowned ‘Salvadorian GPS’, a skit that was inspired by fellow Viner Rudy Mancuso. And it wasn’t long before he had built up a huge following and fanbase. A natural comedian, Mendoza also frequently collaborates with fellow Instagram skit sensation, Oscar Miranda.

Mendoza is regularly making his millions of fans and admirers laugh through his videos and posts on Twitter, Instagram, Facebook and TikTok. He also has his own YouTube channel, Jay Mendoza, which is full of hilarious content, including vlogs, challenges, music and skits.
